Reviews and Ratings
The hotel overlooks the old quay, which sounds wonderful, but the noise from the cobbles on the road and surrounding buildings echoes, and cars use it up to 1 am, so don't expect a good night's sleep. The rooms are situated around a large airy auditorium, dining room, and bar, which was fantastic with a huge bed, lovely bathroom, and fantastic extras. However, the room size was quite small, but upon request for a larger room, I was moved to 203 the next night.
The hotel offers spacious rooms that are a bit dated but very spacious. While they could use a deep clean, our room had a huge and spacious bathroom with a great shower, toiletries, and fluffy towels. The enclosed central courtyard view added to the boutique feel. Service was helpful, with staff members unlike others being unique and attentive. The location is a dream, with easy access to town while still being in a quiet area. The dining experience, although good, leans towards being overpriced for a light continental breakfast.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant. The rooms, although a bit dated, were incredibly spacious and well-equipped, even though they overlooked the car park instead of a more picturesque view. The temperature inside was a bit warm for my liking, especially for February.
